I had Friday off. Last week I read an article about freezing food. (Click this sentence to read the article.) I already knew about the magic of freezing food because Grammy freezes everything. Her freezer is super organized. Before our vacation, I had frozen a ton of food, and this article served as just the impetus I needed to get cooking. I made roast corn, pepper, and tomato soup, tomato/eggplant sauce, yogurt, homemade bread, banana bread and muffins, and did all of the laundry on Friday! Saturday, I cooked all of our frozen fruit and made fruit butter/spread. Froze those too. I got out the label maker and labeled everything with dates in the freezer.
Now I just need to fold all of the laundry.
