Although there are reports from the field that today is not going as well as yesterday, Tanner, Erica, and I had a wonderful day yesterday. We checked out the National Arboretum, then had brunch, and then in the evening spent time with the Rutters. They are here until Thursday. (Click this paragraph to see more pictures from yesterday.)

Always fun to have visits from family. I hope you have a great time together, and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the pic of the red flowers! I owe you some thank yous as well, but I will do that in a more appropriate venue- just wanted you to know you are on my list ... my good list, that is!
